As a student, having a go-to coffee shop or ten is an absolute necessity. As much as we all might like to believe otherwise, being a student is more than a full time job. Regardless of your major, there’s a good chance that you spend all day on campus and then come home to several hours of homework each night. You might even have to fit in a part-time job as well. If you’re lucky, you’re able to carve out a bit of time to enjoy your hobbies as well.
It’s with all of these things in mind that we brought up coffee shops. The rush of caffeine making its way into your bloodstream is sometimes all that’s keeping you going. At Ram’s Crossing, we totally understand that! That’s why it’s so vital to know where you can get a good cup of coffee in Fort Collins.
Whether you prefer black coffee, caramel macchiatos, flat whites, or something else entirely, the good news is that there are plenty of amazing coffee shops in our city. If you’re looking for a place to study and grab a cup of joe, then today’s post is for you. Keep reading to learn more!
Our Favorite Coffee Shops in Fort Collins
At Ram’s Crossing East, we are proud to offer apartments for rent in Fort Collins that are close to all of the best things that the city has to offer, and that includes coffee shops. Let’s take a look at a few of our favorites.
The Little Bird Bakeshop
Little Bird is “a 100% from scratch bakery located in the heart of Old Town Fort Collins on the corner of Walnut and Linden streets,” according to their website. When you go in, you’ll find that the atmosphere is very calm and your surroundings are quaint. In other words, it’s a great place to sit down and enjoy a cup of coffee while you do a bit of studying.
They offer an awesome selection of baked goods that will make your mouth water and their baristas are top-notch, ensuring that no matter what you’d like to drink, you’ll be getting the best of the best.
Everyday Joe’s Coffee House
We’ve mentioned Everyday Joe’s in a previous blog as one of the hidden gems of Fort Collins, so it’s no wonder that we’d mention it again. Run almost entirely on the power of kindhearted volunteers, Joe’s (as it’s known by the people who frequent this coffee shop) offers an amazing space for studying or just catching up with friends. Its high ceilings, brick walls, and featured art from local artists give it a certain level of charm that’s simply unmatched.
Joe’s offers baked items from local companies and features different coffees from well respected roasters throughout the country. If you’re worried that you might get a bad drink made by a volunteer, let us put that fear to rest, because Everyday Joe’s offers an amazing training program to get all of their volunteers up to speed, making them incredible baristas in the process. Be sure to try the root beer milk latte if it’s available when you visit, and trust us when we say that it’s a coffee experience that is truly extraordinary.
