Why Choose Our Fort Collins Apartments Near CSU?
Getting to Class is Much Easier
Probably the biggest reason for many students to live near campus is that it’s that much easier to get to your classes. If you’ve lived on the other end of town, you know how frustrating it can be to do any amount of driving. When you live off campus, you have to drive your own car, contend with other people who are trying to get to class on time, and find a spot in the parking lot.
On the other hand, when you’re practically living on campus, you can walk to class in no time at all. That means that if you have a class at 8 in the morning, you don’t have to wake up at 6 just to get ready and make it in time. Of course, we’re not advocating for you to sleep until the last minute, but you’d be amazed at how much time you can save throughout your day by being so close to campus. Speaking of which…
You Get More Time in General
Life as a college student is incredibly time consuming. Many of us know the toll of taking 18 credit hours in a semester and working a part time job. Unfortunately, the work you have to do for school doesn’t stop when you leave the classroom because many students have several hours of homework to do each and every night, with USA Today nothing that 17 hours per week of homework is the norm. Add in wanting to spend some time with friends and setting aside time for the occasional visit back home to see your family and it’s easy to see why the average college student only gets around 6 hours of sleep each night (according to a study that was recently done by the University Health Center at the University of Georgia) instead of the recommended 8.
College student or not, people are always looking for ways to add more time in the day. The good news is that living in one of our apartments near CSU, you can save quite a bit of time throughout your day to rest and relax. It’s our opinion that having a healthy balance is crucial in life. College is designed to teach you how to bring balance to your life, so it’s important to find some time for yourself. Whether that means turning your brain off and watching your favorite show, carving out some time for a video game, or going for a bike ride with friends, it’s important to take some time to do what makes you happy. Living at Ram’s Crossing can help you to do just that.
Enjoy a Sense of Community
Perhaps best of all is having a sense of community with your neighbors. This isn’t to say that you can’t get along with your neighbors when you live somewhere else, but chances are that the people who live near you might not be students. That means that they could be in a different stage of life entirely.
On the other hand, living in an apartment near campus, the chance that you’ll be surrounded by fellow students goes up exponentially. There are a number of benefits to this, of course; you’ll find it invaluable to have someone from your biology class living a few doors down from you on the day that you can’t make it to class and need someone to share their notes. If you’re the type of person who needs a bit of a push to make a friend or two, having a built in community of similar people living in close proximity to you means that it’s that much easier (and that it’s not forced like it is when your chemistry teacher asks you to stand up and share your hidden talent, hometown, and a fun fact about yourself…nobody likes that, Mr. Davis!).
The good news is that Ram’s Crossing is in a wonderful neighborhood and there are plenty of great amenities to enjoy with the friends that you make while living here. It doesn’t get much better than that!
